Inclement Weather Arrangement
Standby Signal No. 1, Strong Wind Signal No. 3, Amber or Red Rainstorm Warning
- Berthing Services and WestK Quay Management Office remain in service.
Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above, Black Rainstorm Warning
- Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above
- The Quay services will be suspended if typhoon signal no. 8 or above is hoisted before the operating hours.
- If the Hong Kong Observatory announces a specific hoisting time for Tropical Cyclone Signal No.8 during the operating hours of the Quay, the Quay will be closed upon the hoisting of the signal.
- Bookings during the affected period will be automatically cancelled.
- Black Rainstorm Warning
- If the Black Rainstorm Warning is hoisted before the Quay’s operating hours, the Quay will suspend all services. Bookings during the affected period will be automatically cancelled.
- If the Black Rainstorm Warning is hoisted during operating hours, the WestK Quay Management Office remains open. Berthing services will be provided subject to weather and safety conditions, pre-booked users, please contact the WestK Quay Management Office.
Reopening
- The Quay will, if situation allows, re-open within 2 hours after the signal is cancelled.
